What is E Bike Scheme Phase 2?
The E Bike Scheme Phase 2 is the second round of the CM Punjab E-Bike Scheme launched by Chief Minister Maryam Nawaz Sharif. After the successful distribution of 20,000 bikes in Phase 1, the Punjab Government announced Phase 2 with an additional 30,000 bikes, bringing the total scheme allocation to 50,000 electric bikes.
Phase 2 expands the eligibility pool slightly compared to Phase 1 — while students and teachers remain the top priority, daily wage workers, small business owners, and low-income salaried employees now have stronger chances of selection in the second phase. Valid CNIC — Punjab Address ✓
Pakistani citizen aged 18–45 with a valid CNIC registered to a Punjab address. Non-Punjab CNICs are not eligible for the CM Punjab scheme.
Students & Teachers — Top Priority ✓
Enrolled students and government teachers continue to receive the highest selection priority in Phase 2. Female teachers are especially prioritised.
Daily Wage Workers — Eligible ✓
Phase 2 specifically includes daily wage workers and small business owners as priority beneficiaries. Provide employment or trade proof at time of application.
Low Household Income ✓
Monthly household income must fall within the low-income bracket. Lower income results in a higher eligibility score and better chance of selection.
